Welterweight prized fighter Manny Pacquiao gets on the hardwood

Yesterday, Manny Pacquiao who is known for being one of this generations boxing giants made his professional basketball debut in the Philippines. Playing as a “player’s-coach”, Pacquiao got on the hardwood with the KIA Sorento team of the Philippe Basketball Association (PBA) and clocked in seven minutes while committing two turnovers.

Despite his stats, his team dominated the Blackwater Elite in a 80-66 win at the Philippine Arena. With just a month left before he defends his WBO welterweight crown, Pacquiao has stated that he is fully focused on defending his crown on Nov. 22 against Chris Algieri. Be sure to check the video of Manny Pacquiao hooping in his pro PBA debut above.

The real question is, if Drake or Manny Pacquiao were on your team who would you rather have take the last shot for the win? –@Drewtheabstract
