The action continues on episode 2 of The Walking Dead! From priests to cannibals, Season 5 is off to a blazing start. Here’s Thesource.com’s top moments!
1. Tyreese informs Carol she should tell the group what she did to Karen and David, but leave out the part about Lizzie and Mika. Tyreese is beginning to become more of a babysitter than a fighter.
2. Rick has to bow down to Carol after kicking out of the group. He thanks her for saving them and asks if they can join her. Carol has a kind heart, most of us would have made Rick suffer!
3. The next day the group hear screams of help on the woods and find a priest getting attacked by walkers. Per Carl’s suggestion, the group saves the priest named Gabriel and Rick questions him about how many people he has killed. The priest exclaims that he has never killed a person or walker because its against God’s word. Hasn’t Rick learned his lesson? No one is innocent in the zombie apocalypse. Priests included!
4. The priest says he has been held up in his church for months and the church has a food bank full of food but over run by walkers. The group agrees to go and retrieve the food. Once they arrive they find a basement full of bloated walkers that they demolish much to the priests dismay. Bob has a close call with a walker and Sasha rescues him. Who knew Bob and Sasha had also become an item? I guess in these times you take what you can get!
5. Back with the group Michonne tells Rick she doesn’t miss her katana she misses Andrea and Herschel. Carl shows scratch marks on the priests door which indicate someone tried to get in. They also notice a note that says, “You’ll burn for this.” We need Michonne to get her katana back and we need Rick to listen to Carl for once!
6. Rick thanks for the priest for providing the group with shelter but warns he will kill him if he hurts anyone in the group. Bob goes outside and cries to himself and is knocked out by a stranger. Who goes outside by themselves during times like these?
7. Bob awakes to find himself captured by Gareth from Terminus. He reveals that he and his group have to eat and Bob’s leg is seen cooking on the grill while others feast on his meat. Bob learned his lesson too late and Gareth knows that dark meat is nice and succulent!
