As if using her 70mph fastball to pitch a shutout game in the Mid-Atlantic Final, sending her team, Philadelphia’s Taney Dragons, to the Little League World Series wasn’t enough for Mo’ne Davis to gain national attention, consider gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated at the age of 13 icing on the cake.

With perspectives from the village that helped her achieve her goals thus far, ranging from her catcher to her coach, parents to siblings, and even newspaper and magazine writers to Philadelphia City Council officials that are genuinely proud of her accomplishments, the Little League superstar is celebrated by Chevy as one that reminds us that anything is possible.

Mo’ne’s passion for sports is not only a testament to the endless potential that exists within inner-city children nationwide, she is also a true role model to all ages leading by example, encouraging the world to “just go for it, [because] you never know what can happen.”
