We’ve touched on this pair of kicks before, but because they are arguably one of the best pairs of the Air Jordan 6 to come out this year, these definitely deserve another look.

With the release of the Air Jordan 6 “Slam Dunk” to happen this weekend, more and more detailed photos of the Japanese manga-inspired kicks have been making their way to our screens. Taking note from the art in the fictional anime series Slam Dunk, the all-red upper includes images from the iconic show based off of star basketball player Hanamichi Sakuragi and his time at Shahoku High School, finished off with tonal 3M accents and an icy blue tongue, heel tab and sole. Sakuragi even wore a few pairs of J’s during the airing of the show, making this an obvious choice for a Jordan collection along with the Jordan Super Fly 3.

The Air Jordan 6 “Slam Dunk” hits retailers November 1st. Take a closer look at them below, courtesy of Millenium Shoes.
