Egami hosted an intimate event at their offices, where they shared their projects. The evening featured performances by Jazmine Sullivan, who just released a new single and B. Grey who are Brazil Idol winners.
After a presentation and mingling Grammy-nominated singer Jazmine Sullivan was welcomed to the stage. Wearing a very chic combination of black sequined skirt and black blouse pairing it with a silver belt, Jazmine looked effortlessly beautiful. She performed two songs for the event. The first song was the theme song for Egami called “Dream Big” and Jazmine’s vocal shined on the positive lyrics “I gotta dream big cause when it happen it’s gon’ happen real quick, I gotta move fast cause when it happen I can’t let it move past.” Opting to perform an acoustic version of the song, Jazmine captured the uplifting, and emotional content for the song. For her second song, she performed her newest single, “Forever Don’t Last”, which she recounts as a deeply personal story she had in the past. Her raw emotion was captured when she sang the lyrics, “Cause forever, doesn’t last too long forever, And I tried to believe that we could make it. But trying don’t work, so I just have to face that forever doesn’t last too long these days.” Both of these songs demonstrated the skill Jazmine has as a singer and her ability to connect with her audience regardless of what she is singing.
After Jazmine’s performance, the male duo group B. Grey was welcomed to the stage. The duo, Saulo Roston and Phil Batista are contestants from Brazilian Idol, who met on a songwriting session. They both wore fitting suits and performed three songs on a guitar. The first song was called “Damn Sure.” A fast paced song, they narrated the story of a guy chasing after his dream girl. Their harmonies were simply stunning and their voices played off each other. The second song they performed was called, “Free the light” and on this song they incorporated spoken poetry to express their goal of uniting the world in love and music. The last song they performed was called; “whose bad” and again their voices melted the hearts of the guest as they played this upbeat song.
Egami definitely knew how to uplift their guests and their passion to serve is definitely clearly communicated. Although this is the first party for “The Dream Makers Series”, it is for sure that all the parties in this series will be fun and a joy to attend.
