For the first time in over 50 years, the Los Angeles Lakers have began an NBA season 0-4. This is a major milestone in the history of the often winning, storied franchise that hasn’t started this bad since the opening of the 1957-58 season, back when they were still located in Minneapolis. Nonetheless, when it comes to the Black Mamba, reporters are constantly looking for the next cutting edge story or quote. With a run-of-the-mill question regarding L.A.’s early struggle, Mr. Clutch, Kobe Bryant, took it and ran, from one reporter that asked, “You’ve never been 0-and-4 in your career. Does that bother you?”
Without hesitation, number 24 responded, “No it doesn’t bother me. I’m festively jovial about it,” and proceeded to the next question.
