It shouldn’t come as a surprise that we’re a fan of The Black Opera. Most of the time, it seems superfluous to have much of a write up with their music as the lyrics say it all. The track is produced by Tall Black Guy and its off their recently released album, The Great Year. You can always count on TBO for the revolution to carry on.
The Black Opera had this to say about the single:
What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from. The Black Opera enlists the Queen Georgia Anne Muldrow to reinforce the multi-linear concept of the beginning and the end. This song’s nuance stands for power, rebirth, triumph, completion, and exaltation. It is TBO’s audible Alpha and Omega.
