Another victim in the Ebola crisis comes to the United States

Dr. Martin Salia, left his native Sierra Leone, in West Africa on Saturday heading to Nebraska to be treated for the Ebola Virus.

A legal, permanent resident of the U.S., Doctor Salia splits his time between Sierra Leone and New Carrolton, Maryland.

The married father was evaluated and then given clearance the travel to Omaha, where he will go to The Nebraska Medical Center. One of four hospitals in the United States that has biocontainment units along with years of training and preparation for caring for highly infectious diseases, like Ebola.

It is the same hospital where Dr. Rick Sacra and freelance photographer Ashoka Mukpo, were treated and and released.
