Mega star is close to a deal with athletic company

Mega pop star Rihanna is close to signing a seven figure deal with Puma, designing sneakers and clothing for the athletic and casual footwear company, according to Confidenti@l.

Apparently the sportswear giant is gearing up for the “A Girl Like Me” singer, she will have her own coordinator who will have an assistant junior helper, to make sure Rihanna has everything she may possibly need to make this venture as successful as her music career.

The contract is said to be $1 million, and will bind the star from wearing rivals’ brands. A source says “She will have to slowly start to incorporate Puma into her wardrobe.” A change for the star who is infatuated with wearing Adidas.

This wouldn’t be the the first round with fashion for the Bajan beauty. She has worked with Armani helping design underwear and jeans, she also assisted in designing a line for British store River Island.

Puma has also collaborated with celebs before, hiring Solange Knowles as an “art director” back in February. She worked with some of her favorite graphic designers, photographers and emerging designers, releasing a collection of out-there sneakers.
