It’s rare but time to time I’ll discover someone in the SYLR@thesource.com email account worth a second listen. And a third listen. And so on. Lewis Allen is one of those artists. The NJ rapper and producer is slowly releasing his new EP, one track at a time. His “Clark Kent” track caught my attention and the rest clicked. It’d be easy to quickly write him off as a Yeezy wanna be but he’s taken that dark and industrial sound and wrote his own name all over it. The emotions are his own and the lyrics are descriptive to his life experiences.
Stay tuned for the remaining five songs from the EP.
Bryan Hahn listens to literally every submissions he gets. He’s on Twitter (@notupstate).
