Excited we are.
A teaser trailer for the seventh installment of the Star Wars saga is set to premiere in select theaters this week. According to reports, a 90-second preview for Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens will precede every film in the 100 selected cinemas this Friday.
Details about the J.J. Abrhams-directed film have been scarce, with all parties involved keeping a very tight lip on what can be expected. What we do know is The Force Awakens will take place 30 years after the events of Star Wars: Return of The Jedi and will feature beloved characters of the film series chiefly Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia and Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca. Newcomers to the film series include Andy Serkis (Dawn of The Planet of the Apes), Oscar Isaac (Inside Llewyn Davis), Adam Driver (Girls)
and Max von Sydow (Minority Report).
Check out the list of participating theaters below to get your first look at Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens – or you can just wait for it to hit the ‘net like the rest of us (because of course it will).
