To celebrate the release of the new version of the infamous “Grand Theft Auto V” game for both the PlayStation4 and the Xbox One (PC version will be released January 27), Rockstar Games and Mass Appeal Records released limited edition collections of the game’s hard hitting soundtrack in both CD and vinyl form. This limited edition set hit stores on December 9, 2014. This collection includes 59 songs including songs from major artists like A$AP Rocky and Tyler, The Creator.
Tyler, The Creator’s song “Garbage” is one of the catchier songs on the soundtrack. Tyler is known for his hard hitting and opinionated songs, and this song has everything that people love him for. When listening to this song, you get to really understand why this song was put into the soundtrack of this game, mainly because it just sounds very ominous and intense. There are even gunshot noises in the background of this song, and in a game like “GTA V,” where you have access to so many guns and other weapons, this song just fits right in. The chorus line of “Dope in the bag, pretty b*tch on my side,” practically screams “Grand Theft Auto,” where the player can be the stud who gets all the women and is the main person in charge.
A$AP Rocky’s song, “r-Cali,” also is a perfect fit for this soundtrack mainly from the lyrics he is rapping himself.

If that verse doesn’t scream “GTA V” then I don’t know what does. In the game you have access to all the cars out there, whether you get them legally or illegally, you can ride in a helicopter and wreak as much havoc as you want, no matter who you are you will at some point take out a gun in broad daylight in the game and shoot a civilian, and more than once you will be involved in a police car chase and wreck your car, hence the line “fenders smashing, windows crashing.”
The entire soundtrack for this game is extremely spot on and has without a doubt, given the user a much more pleasurable experience. This limited edition bundle pack is something that every “Grand Theft Auto” fan has to have. Other artists featured on the soundtrack include Twin Shadow, Wavves, Flying Lotus, Yeasayer, Tangerine Dream, Woody Jacksin, The Alchemist, as well as Oh No. There are only 5000 copies of this limited edition set worldwide so this is something that you have to get your hands on as soon as possible. The vinyl collection features a total of six vinyl records, a full color booklet, and an exclusive lithograph poster in a classic box set. The CD collection includes three discs along with a branded “Grand Theft Auto V” gold brick shape USB Drive, artwork, and a poster all sealed in a special die-cut package. This set is available from December 9 at top online and physical record stores.
