Dubai is opening a new theme park that will be completely under water. The city that is home to the largest building and the largest hotel in the world will soon be opening the worlds largest underwater theme park. The new theme park will be called Pearl of Dubai.

The five acre theme park will be located in the shallow waters of The World Isands development off the coast of Dubai and has been designed to look like an ancient lost city and is inspired by the look of the films Pirates of the Caribbean and Avatar.  The park will be open to all ages, giving them the opportunity to explore the stunning underwater attractions using snorkeling and scuba diving.

The project is hoping to attract tourists from the $3bn scuba diving and snorkelling market as well as a variety of marine life to The World, an artificial archipelago of 300 islands,
