The Sergeants Benevolence Association claims that the Black Guerrilla Family has made credible threats that must be taken seriously

It’s beginning to look a lot like war for Christmas in “Do Or Die” Bed-Stuy .

Last night, two of the most prominent precincts in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, the 79th Precinct and the 81st Precinct, have been put on high alert as of last night because of alleged threats from California founded prison gang Black Guerrilla Family to “shoot it out” with police.

According to the Sergeants’ Benevolence Association(SBA), they were tipped off by a confidential informant who were in the Bed Stuy discussing the attack.

“We’ve got emergency service personnel providing additional security outside of precincts. It’s credible.”

says Ed Mullins, president of the Sargeants’ Benevolence Association.

Five days earlier in the same area enclosed by housing projects, two NYPD officers were shot and killed execution style by a lone gunman while sitting in their patrol car on the corner of Myrtle and Tompkins Avenues. On December 7, just three days prior to the shooting, officers were told to carry their service weapon and wear their bulletproof vests on and off duty because of a “verified” threat they received from BGF.

SWAT teams and Emergency Services Unit officers, equipped with riot helmets and assault rifles, have manned the two precincts.
