Iggy Azalea is suffering from TMJ also known as temporomandibular joint disorder.

She revealed this to her fans on Wednesday via twitter. TMJ Disorders “are a group of conditions that cause pain and dysfunction in the jaw joint and the muscles that control jaw movement.  The condition appears to be more common in women than men … For most people, pain in the area of the jaw joint or muscles does not signal a serious problem. Generally, discomfort from these conditions is occasional and temporary, often occurring in cycles. The pain eventually goes away with little or no treatment. Some people, however, develop significant, long-term symptoms,” according to the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research.

One of her new year’s resolutions is to better take care of herself in 2015. She tweeted, “I’m gonna make more of an effort to take care of myself in 2015, stay away from all the drama & hopefully not have any flair ups.” Iggy also plans to start working on her new album next week. She is up for the record of the year Grammy for “Fancy” featuring Charli XCX.

We wish Iggy a speedy recovery.
