Ever so often there comes a graphic t-shirt, that we just can’t stand to pass up. Whether it’s winter, spring, summer or fall we can all use a dope t-shirt. In this case multimedia artist Carlisa Pridgen, collaborates with Blestd Official and features her photography on a hand crafted screen printed t-shirt.
The BLEStD x Carlisa design is The Holding Hand of Power was inspired by the turmoil that has been occurring throughout the African American Community, especially the Ferguson Shooting in Missouri. Having something positive around such negativity makes a difference and fashion is a great way to display just that. We’re dressing it up with a leather pencil skirt and our favorite boots or keeping it casual with a pair of great fitting denim jeans and a pair of kicks.
