50 Cent will be taking over a local newspaper near you, no really
This coming Tuesday, January 13, the New York Daily news is going to look and sound very different. It seems 50 Cent just can’t keep his hands out of the cookie jar. He tends to dabble in just a little bit of everything, which almost always works for the rapper. Next week Fif will be putting his editing skills to the test when he’ll be taking over the New York Daily News and its Confidential column for a day.
According to Raakhee Mirchandani, managing editor of features, Fif will be in charge of a few things: choosing photos, picking stories to write, and even attending the news meeting for the day. Aside from playing editor, Fif will be answering fan questions during a live web chat from the newsroom on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. ET.
“Tables are turning on Tuesday at the New York Daily News, I’ll be choosing the content! Everyone better get ready,” 50 told Billboard.
Fif took to his Instagram to promote Tuesday’s shenanigans and posted this photo with the caption: “I’m Taking Over.”
