Juan Deuce and Falside need to be signed to an independent label, otherwise I may lose faith in all levels of the music industry. Falside has consistently formed and broken his own molds for production while Juan Deuce can switch between serious and witty lines as he pleases. “Put Em’ Up” reminds me of early Cypress Hill while “Lakes” is uniquely Juan Deuce: “Lucy in the sky/When I find her/I’m a have her look me in the eyes…”
The project may be a self-proclaimed “experimental” one, it’s right on target as far as where Hip-Hop should be heading–a strange, new land. As far as what a Galapaghost is, you’ll just have to listen to the last track to find out.
