If you’re familiar with Nicki Minaj, you’re aware of not only how well her album is (musically and commercially) but also (unfortunately) some of the drama surrounding her break-up with former hype-man Safaree Samuels.

Well, because it would be unfair to project just one side of a story, the Breakfast Club sat down with Safaree to speak openly about his relationship with Nicki and why things seem to have crumbled.

“That was my soulmate. Me and her were calling all the shots,” said Samuels.
