Marvel is paying respect to the rap group in a major way
If having arguably the best project last year wasn’t enough, it seems the rap group caught the attention of Marvel Comics and will be starting off the year with their own variant covers. The duo will be covering Issue 45 of Deadpool and also Issue two of Howard Duck and both covers feature a pair of Marvel characters gesturing the duo’s iconic symbol.
According to Marvel Comics editor-in-chief Axel Alonso, in a interview with Rolling Stone he states that he is very aware of the “tag the jewels” movement and actually got the whole idea from watching a game of football with his son. Check the cool photos of the covers below:
