The details or the lack thereof are chilling

A neighbor described the mother, Hyphernkemberly Dorvilier, as calm, “she knew what she was doing,” David Joseph told the Burlington County Times. Witnesses to the murder say Dorvilier poured a flammable liquid on the newborn around 11 p.m. Friday night then set the baby on fire in the middle of a quiet road in the Pemberton Township of New Jersey.

The cruel mother claimed she was burning dog waste and used a water bottle to douse the flames. Police hurried to scene where they found Dorvilier and the baby. NBC reported that Dorvilier was hospitalized at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, and is now in custody at Burlington County Correction and Work Release Center on $500,000 bond. The badly burned baby went by helicopter to St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital. Sadly, the baby died overnight, authorities said. Dorvilier has been charged with the infant’s death.
