Did you flip your television to Esquire Network’s Friday Night Tykes last night?
Great if you did, and if you didn’t shame on you! Children are the future and they are getting the opportunity to shine.
The critically acclaimed, 10-part documentary series, returned last night for a second season and followed the San Antonio division of the Texas Youth Football Association.
This year, the players are now in the 10 and 11-year old age group, where the players are bigger, faster and the game more volatile and dangerous. Also in the spotlight are the changes teams have made to their training methods after several coaches were suspended last season for encouraging dangerous play.
