Yohji Yamamoto does it again.

During Paris Fashion Week, Yohji Yamamoto‘s Y-3 takes the stage with their fall/winter 2015 collection. Of course, Y-3 stays intact with their classic silhouette as well as feautring their famous three stripes through out the entire line-up. The cutting-edge, slim tailoring and sophisticated designs make this year’s fall/winter collection a 360 experience. Yohji draws inspiration from the Royal Air Force and the history of aviation, staying very much in pocket with the brands exsisting image. Also they managed to maintain a particular colour palette, olive green, dark navy, cool gray.

As much as Y-3 is popular for it’s futuristic swag which appeals to the younger generation of fashion enthusiasts, this collection they did a great job of bringing the traditional garments like military blazers, belted waists, trench coats and polished leather A-1 flight jackets back. Not to say they were ever out of fashion, however, they do a pretty darn good job of putting all the pieces together. All the way down to their boots and new colorways of the Qasa sneakers, they are well equipped to bring a trumpet this year. Check out collection in our gallery above.
