The numbers are in, and Miley Cyrus’ album “Bangerz” lands at the number one spot, pushing 271,000 units its first week.  The “Wrecking Ball” singer, who worked with super producers Pharrell and Mike Will Made It, has been in the public eye ever since her MTV Video Music Awards performance.

Landing at the number 3 spot is Drake’s Nothing Was The Same, which sold just about 80,000 copies this week and Pusha T’s debut album, My Name Is My Name holds steady at the number four position with 74, 610 copies sold, respectable numbers from an emcee who admits to never selling a whole lot of records.  Justin Timberlake rounds out the top five selling 72,166 copies of the “20/20 Experience 2 of 2″ bringing his grand total just shy of the 500,000 copies sold. Lorde’s debut album “Pure Heroine” holds steady at number six and Danny Brown’s ”Old” lands in the top 20 with 15,000 copies sold.

Well, there you have it folks. Miley Cyrus is really out here pushing units. You gotta respect it.
