Sunday night at Jets House happy fans and players watched Super Bowl XLIX together.
The pop-up party at the delicious Lugo Cucina Italiana at 1 Penn Plaza hosted hundreds of guests who came out for a day of football fun and fantastic fan interactions. Gang Green launched the Jets House that ran from Friday to Sunday where the team’s fans had an opportunity to mingle with current and former players including IK Enemkpali, Ryan Quigley, Nick Mangold, Michael Vick, Joe Klecko, Wesley Walker, Marty Lyons, former Jets Safety Kenny Schroy and former Jets Wide Receiver Wesley Walker.
Before the game started attendees also got to speak to the beautiful Flight Crew cheerleaders, play games sponsored by Jet Blue and checked out the Fan Duel Station, which is the leader in one-day fantasy sports leagues. During the game cocktails, Corona beers and non-stop burgers and pizza were served.
We sat down for an interview with Defensive End IK Enemkpali for a few pre-game questions:
Are you looking forward to the game today?
Yeah, I am looking forward to watching the guys compete today. I want to see a good game. I think the Seahawks might pull it off.
Jets House is a great experience and wonderful way for the fans to meet their favorite players. How does it feel to be here?
It is fun mingling with all these loyal Jets fans here today. Some of these fans have been season ticket holders longer than I have been alive. I really do like that they appreciate the experience.
