A new book alleges one of the Yanks’ habits of bringing hookers home in pairs.
Author Michael Gross is outing the lewd lifestyles led by the international elite in his forthcoming book House of Outrageous Fortune: Fifteen Central Park West, the World’s Most Powerful Address.
The address has been home to the likes of Denzel Washington, NASCAR’s Jeff Gordon, Sting, hedge fund runners, the heads of Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Lehman Brothers, Google, and Yahoo!
Apparently, one of the public figures – and former 15 CPW resident – whose closets Gross is giving a deep-cleaning to is a pin-striped wearing MLB athlete, whose career was already jeopardized this year after evidence of his use of performance-enhancing drugs surfaced.
You guessed it. In Gross’s exposé, he reveals that none other than Alex Rodriguez was paying a monthly $30,000 rent to an exclusive pad on the Upper East Side in 2010, where building personnel have confirmed he’d bring home hookers all the time, “usually two at a time, two times a week.” The anonymous building worker further noted, “One time he had two go up, they came down and left, and 10 minutes later, Cameron Diaz walks in.”
It was at that same luxurious apartment that A-Rod “scored” Kate Hudson and Madonna. Despite having relations with some of the most accomplished and gorgeous women in entertainment, his price-tagged trysts with prostitutes prevailed. I can’t help but wonder if they were all blondes too.
Aside from the building staff divulging A-Rod’s paid sexcapades with professional pleasers, another worker commented that, “He was a douche, an unfriendly narcissist. I hate the guy. He thought he was God.” Yikes.
Of course, A-Rod’s spokesman Ron Berkowitz is claiming that, “This is a further effort to fabricate scandal around Alex” per the New York Post.
So celebrities, if you’re going to put yourself in a controversial situation, and have witnesses – in this case, building staff – at least be nice to them so that they won’t air out your dirty laundry so willingly to the press.
Gross’s House of Outrageous Fortune will be released on March 11, 2014.
