Horace Grant had an NBA career that many dream of. Aside from being good at his position, he’s had the privilege of not only playing against some of the game’s best players, but also playing with some of the best scorers. That list includes: Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Penny Hardaway, Shaquille O’Neal, Tracy McGrady, and Kobe Bryant.
While sitting down with Hot 97‘s Ebro in The Morning Show, Horace talked to Ebro, Rosenberg, and Laura Styles about a variety of different topics including the differences between past eras (including his) and today’s, his four championships, and what he does to stay in shape. With all topics in consideration, there’s no getting beside the fact that Horace Grant won championships with Michael Jordan — the Chicago Bulls’ very first three-peat.
Once Horace mentioned Jordan for the first time in the interview, Ebro and Rosenberg took it and ran. Thanks to that move, viewers were able to understand the iconic MJ from a relatively new perspective. While Horace spills info on Jordan around the 5-minute mark, at 12 he names the differences between Kobe and Jordan.
