“Lames try to tell me, ‘Cut the wildin’ out…’”
Scottish singer Shirley Manson had some very choice words for Kanye West. Yesterday (2/10), Manson took to her social media accounts — Twitter and Facebook — to pen an open letter to Mr. West regarding his misinterpreted actions during the 57th Annual grammy Awards.
Kanye West Says Beck Should Have Given Award To Beyoncé During Grammy After Party
Simply put: she wasn’t happy with the way Kanye conducted himself on Sunday. She stated, “It is YOU who is so busy disrespecting artistry. You disrespect your own remarkable talents and more importantly you disrespect the talent, hard work, and tenacity of all artists when you go so rudely and savagely after such an accomplished and humble artist like BECK.”
Beck Responds to Kanye West’s Post-Grammy Remarks
She follows up with, “You make yourself look small and petty and spoilt. In attempting to reduce the importance of one great talent over another, you make a mockery of all musicians and music from every genre, including your own.”
Check out her aggressive letter below:
One would think that before putting something like this in writing, they’d at least attempt to be a bit more informed. Yesterday as Kanye, Kim, and North arrived at JFK airport in New York City, paparazzi swarmed, asking “Sanctified” ‘Ye to elaborate on his statements from the night before.
“No, I wasn’t saying Beck. I said the Grammys,” he said to paparazzi. “Beck knows that Beyonce should have won, you know that. Come on, I love Beck. But he ain’t have album of the year.”
“But who the f***k is you reachin’?”
