Looks like Rita Ora attending this year’s Met Ball was a profitable one. She’s signed to be the newest spokesmodel of Madonna (who also attended the fete) and daughter’s Lourdes’ clothing line Material Girl. According to England rag The Sun, the deal is worth (in euros) 500,000. Lourdes is highly influential on the direction on the brand and word has it that she’s a fan of Ora’s music.
Insiders are saying that this could finally be the big break Ora needs to reach to an American audience on the music front. Despite her Roc Nation association, her debut has yet to be officially released in stateside, though she’s performed at sold-out shows in NY and LA, and has done photo shoots for major publications.
Rita is racking the endorsement deals as she’s also the face of the Italian-made Superga sneakers, though her first was for Calvin Klein’s CK Jeans two years ago.
