For Nike’s collection, it featured many bold prints and standout colors that were motivated by their concept of being the “Best In You” and driving kids to transform into something better.  The first look of the show was the KO 3.0 AOP Hoody, Nike Pro GFX Tights, and girl’s graphic low socks.  This look was the definition of a bold print with pink polka dots while also being very sleek and trendy, especially with it being a kid’s clothing line.  It also had a comfortable look to it and this look is for the girl who wants to stay active and be in shape while also looking good doing it.  Another stylish look was the Tech fleece FZ hoody and pant, the Melo tee, and Fly Rise crew socks.  This look is for the boy who wants to go out and have fun while also being warm and comfortable.  It takes the idea of street wear attire and makes it into something that a kid could also work out in.  Overall, this collection was very cohesive and everything seemed to fall right into place.

The Nike SB line this season defines innovation and epitomizes the creativity that is synonymous with youth all while being tied in together by the concept of skateboarding.  One look that really captures the idea of “We Skate Every Day” is the Color Block PKT Tee, with the woven jogger, therma-fit geo-ERDL camo pom beanie, and the woodgrain crew socks.

The Jordan line was all about comfortable sportswear.  Their focus is on the young athlete and delivering clothes that will fit their needs both off and on the court.  One of the looks that stood out the most was the Aqua 8 Camo Ele Therma-fit hoodie with black shorts, Aqua 8 tees, a jumbo jumpy bad and cap, and retro 8 socks.  What was great about this look was not that it was comfortable and looked sporty, which it did, but rather that the colors were bold and made a statement.  This look is for the kid who wants to show up to the court looking stylish but also ready to get active and play his best game yet.

The Converse line was all about unleashing your inner creative spirit and one of the looks that embodied that idea was the first look to hit the runway which was a digitized floral crew sweatshirt with Levi’s denim leggings.  This look was all about showcasing vibrant colors and did so through the floral print and took the idea of unleashing the creative spirit and ran with it.  What was good about this look was that the denim leggings were simple and did not take away from the stand out item which was the floral sweatshirt, something which looked so great on the model that it needed to stand out.

Hurley was next and its look was based on the ocean and beach weather.  The look that really stood out and was different from the rest was the French terry cape, with an original tank, jelly print scuba leggings, and a ship shape beanie.  What really stood out were the leggings in particular because it had a ton of color in it ranging from a royal purple to an aqua blue to even a moonlight yellow color.  With this statement of color, it really shows Hurley’s belief in the freedom of expression and finding your own voice.

Lastly, there was the Levi collection.  Levi’s specializes in cool yet comfortable clothing and many of the looks shown at this runway exemplified the detail and craftsmanship put into these pieces.  One great look from this collection was the logo cap with a denim jacket, a marsh zip front hoodie, and 511 slim fit jeans. It had a very casual feel to it and is for the person who just wants to go and hang out.  For a kidswear piece, it really hit the mark.
