The ‘Money and Violence’ crew stopped by The Source offices today to plug in their season finale debuting tonight
Even with the structural changes and neighborhood gentrification, some people have still managed to remain steadfast to the ways of the “old Brooklyn”. From the “Albee Square Mall” era emerges a trending weekly web series appropriately titled Money And Violence. With over 8.5 million combined views of all episodes in the past month on YouTube and Cloud9TV.net, Money and Violence has become the most talked about hood flick in the vein of Boyz N Da Hood, Menace II Society, and The Wire almost overnight.
Moses Ver, the producer and director of M & V who also plays “Rafe”, one of the series’ main characters, brought the cast by the office to give us a peek at what to expect from the most anticipated episode to date. Watch and listen to “Motivation” and the crew tell us about how they’ve been receiving their newfound fame, why the finale has taken so long, and what happened to a bootlegger when “Mista” caught him selling Money And Violence on the streets of BK. PROTECT YA JAW!!!
Make sure to tune in tonight @ 8pm to see Part 2 of the season finale!
