According to Bleacher Reports’ Jared Zwerling, the Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh has blood clots in both lungs.
The All Star complained of chest pain on Thursday and was rushed to a Miami-area hospital. While there, Bosh went through a serious of tests on his lungs.
It was first reported that Bosh had a blood clot in one lung. “Everybody’s jumping the gun,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said yesterday.“Frankly, there’s not a full diagnosis.”Today, however, it’s reported that the 6-foot-11 forward has clots in both lungs.
Bosh’s former Heat teammate LeBron James reached out to Bosh via text last night to offer his support. “I’m [expletive] up, man,” James told the Cleveland Plain Dealer’s Chris Haynes on Friday.
Although there is no timetable for Bosh’s return, it’s probable that Bosh could miss the remainder of the season with treatment usually lasting for half a year.
