The Philadelphia 76ers waived forward, Andrei Kirilenko.
The move was announced by the Sixers via Twitter:
Official: The Sixers have waived forward Andrei Kirilenko
Kirilenko was traded to the Sixers from the Brooklyn Nets in December. When the 6-foot-9 forward was traded to the Sixers, he never reported to the team, forcing Philadelphia to suspend him. Kirilenko has career averages of 11.8 PPG, 5.5 RPG and 1.8 BPG.

With thirteen years played in the NBA, Kirilenko should have no problem latching on to a team seeking his services. ESPN NBA analyst Marc Stein tweeted earlier today that Kirilenko will be able to find work in the NBA if he’s truly interested in playing.
