Central St. Martins featured a variety of designers in their London Fashion Week Fall 2015 presentation at BFC Courtyard Show Space.
The show included a wide range of styles and pieces. Some are indescribable. From red pea coats to cactus inspired dresses, were were in for a treat. Each designer had such a different vision, it was refreshing to see them all come to life on one runway. With all of these collections, it was probably hard to pick one makeup look to suit them all. We had a chance to speak to with MAC Cosmetics makeup artist Pablo Rodriguez on how he created the looks.
“Well there are 15 designers in this case, so in this situation we had to create a look that works for everyone. What we had to do was very minimal makeup in the past, but this time we did something that is quit grungy. One of the things I did was put a nice black eye liner and push it to the side, but one of the main things is taking this eye shadow and it’s a cream eye shadow it is a grayish brown from MAC called “Taylor Grey” so it creates a nice dark look. So for the girls we chose the black liner and the boys we chose the smudge grey liner so it would not be too much. For men it’s either you go all out or you do not put on any makeup at all. So I like working with both and seeing how it plays out. It is all very fun for me and I love it.”
