Tree is everywhere. He works like none other, producing for other Chicago artists as well as steadily putting out his own projects. He just released his latest one and it’s a bit different from his previous work. His gruff voice is still intact and his content is largely the same. His production and flows have become more digestible for the younger generation who are caught up in Trap music. Nothing is compromised but even Tree admits that he goes to strip club so why not create music for his environment? He plans on putting out a slew of new music this year–not just his own but work he’s done with other artists including Frank Dukes, Sha Money XL, and Brian Fresco.

Bryan Hahn wonders where Trap Genius placed on Genius’ list of names years ago. He’s on Twitter (@notupstate).
