On Thursday, March 5, Lenny Kravitz kicked off the worldwide launch of Flash by LennyKravitz – a photo exhibit documenting Kravitz’ world tours and unusual insights into the nomadic life of a musician – with a private VIP event in Los Angeles.
This exclusive event celebrated Kravitz’s ongoing design collaboration with Leica Camera including the exhibit and accompanying teNueues photography book Flash, as well as the limited edition Leica/Lenny Kravitz designed M-P (Typ 240) correspondent camera. Offering two lenses, a handmade case and a unique vintage finish, the camera, which was unveiled at the March 5 event, will retail for $24,500.
The Flash by Lenny Kravitz photo exhibition at Leica Gallery in Los Angeles is the first stop of many around the globe throughout 2015 and will be open to visitors from March 6th to April 6th. The images for Flashwere all captured by Kravitz with equipment from the Leica M-System.
Other notables in attendance included Denzel Washington and Minnie Driver.
