Happy Thursday and good morning to you!

While the birds are chirping and you’re making breakfast or en route to work, chances are you’re surfing the net, checking email and liking videos and pictures on Instagram.

Speaking of Instagram, one of the most viewed users is @Atown0705. You’ve seen him!

With 779,000 Instagram followers and counting, the 21 year old has been traveling all over the United States and making paid appearances hosting at clubs and college functions with his brother and manager, Snacks.

What makes A Town unique??  His brand of humor. He’s entertaining!

His Instagram videos often depict he and his big brother having water balloon fights (think adult real-life Pinky & The Brain) hanging with A-lists Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg and more.

Before he had folks waiting with baited breath for his latest 15 second instagram episodes, A Town grew his following via YouTube.  “I started on YouTube and somebody started recording me and I said I was sexy as s**t; which I am,” A Town told The Source via FaceTime last night.

“Then it took off and a lot of people knew who I was.”

There seemed to be no anecdote or formula for developing daily content. He indicates that he started his movement simply because he likes to get reactions out of people. “I just like making people laugh,” he said. “So I just started making people laugh.”

When he’s not making people laugh, A Town has also been in the music studio. Championing his catchphrase ‘hello good morning, the birds are chirping,’ his catchphrase known to most on the gram, he converted it to a catchy hook to a rap song.  “It’s out there for everybody to enjoy,” he said. “Everybody needs to have fun with the song.”

CHECK IT OUT

Clearly folks are having fun with the song or just enamored with the young lad. Currently the video to the song has over 2 million views on YouTube.

Shifting away from the music and IG scene, when A Town is not on the road, he likes to watch sports. A native Philadelphian, he’s rocking with the hometown Philadelphia Eagles. “I like those birds,” he said.

Currently on the road in Miami, A Town has been in tune with all of the free agency moves and signings that the Eagles have been making. If you’re tardy to the party, the Eagles traded running back LeSean McCoy to the Buffalo Bills and quarterback Nick Foles to the St. Louis Rams.  “It’s crazy,” said an adamant A Town. “But they’re going to work it out.”

At 14-50 the Philadelphia 76ers are currently one of the worst teams in the NBA. A Town remembers the days of Allen Iverson, Dikembe Mutombo and Eric Snow from last decade. Despite trading fan favorite Michael Carter-Williams at the NBA’s trading deadline last month, A Town is loyal to his team. He’s also hopeful that the Sixers and their GM Sam Hinke will find a way to win with the crop of players that are currently on the roster. “All they need to do is put their heads together and work it out.”

Aside from the Philadelphia sports landscape, A Town does actually have a life offline. The young man admits that he likes to kick back and enjoy movies and cartoons. A Town, notes that he enjoys watching movies and cartoons and counts Scarface as his favorite flick. “That’s a back in the day movie,” he said. “And Get Rich or Die Trying.”

A Town also admits to being a bit of a video gamer too: “Madden on XBox 360,” he said.

When it’s all said and done however, nothing beats a good night at home with the flat screen tuned in to a good show on Cartoon Network! Adult Swim anyone?? “I just like watching cartoons,” he said.
