Eminem teases his fans with a snippet of a new song accompanying the trailer for the fighting flick Southpaw. 


The trailer for the Jake Gyllenhaal-starring/Antoine Fuqua-directed flick is intense enough on its own, but Eminem’s hard-hitting song at the end only ratchets the tension up from there. Em tweeted his excitement on Friday morning (March 27): “Sneak peek of some new stuff I’ve been working on in the @SouthPawMovie trailer. World premiere!”

Southpaw is the story of Billy “The Great” Hope (Gyllenhaal), a fighter on the ropes of life after his wife dies. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Rita Ora are also on hand with supporting roles.

Here’s hoping that the song comes out sooner rather than later. Southpaw is in theaters July 31, 2015. Check out the trailer here.
