Vivica A. Fox is reprising her role in the sequel to one of the most successful blockbusters of all time.
Director Roland Emmerich (Bad Boys, Transformers) re-enlisted Fox in her role as Jasmine Dubrow, an exotic dancer and single mother; she’ll be joining the already cast Jeff Goldblum, Liam Hemsworth, Jessie Usher, and Charlotte Gainsbourg in the sequel, which is scheduled for release in 2016.

Emmerich is returning to direct the film from a script by Carter Blanchard. Be sure to keep an eye out for it on June 24th, 2016 — almost two decades after the original first opened.
