Vin Diesel and Chris Tucker may soon be starring in an honest to goodness drama.
Acclaimed director Ang Lee is directing the project Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, an adaptation of the Ben Fountain novel. He’s also tapped newcomer Joe Alwyn to star in the Iraq War picture.
19-year-old private Billy Lynn is the center of the story, when he and his team are in the middle of a conflict that’s captured by news cameras and turns them into instant media darlings. Once they come back stateside, they face the cameras and the imminent return to war.
The film is being shot with high-resolution Sony F65 cameras and in 3D, which is extremely exciting. Keep your ears peeled for more news.
