Hollywood Reporter says that The former Thor: The Dark World director is set to take over the Amazonian hero’s solo feature.

The DC Comics/Warner Bros. film was originally slated to be directed by Michelle MacLauren, who abruptly left earlier this month. WB claims that this is a minor speed bump in the film’s production, and that they’re still looking to get started on filming this fall with Patty Jenkins in the director’s chair.

Gal Gadot is still playing Wonder Woman in the film that will continue the DC Comics Cinematic Universe when it releases sometime in 2017. That is, if Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice doesn’t spin out in flames at the box office next year.
