According to sources, Rajon is preparing for his way out of Dallas
It was just a few months ago Rajon Rondo was added to a prominent team that was in talks of going far in the West Conference Playoffs, but judging by the beginning games, we all jumped the gun. Simply put, the Dallas Mavericks are a mess and it doesn’t look like it will get any better. Down 0-2 against the Houston Rockets in their first-round series, the ending to a possible championship team looks closer than predicted. After being benched with just 10 minutes to his stat line in a Game 2 loss, it appears Rondo is strongly feeling like his days in Dallas are near.
According to sources told to Yahoo Sports writer Adrian Wojnarowski:
Everything’s pushing Rondo closer to his inevitable free-agent fleeing to the Lakers this summer. As long as the coach is back, Rondo’s gone.”
Can’t say that we are surprised by the news, with the many rifts between coach Carlisle and Rondo, it was only a matter of time. Since being acquired in December, it was evident that coach Carlisle didn’t know how to exactly use the shifty point guard and with a limit on his minutes in the postseason, Rondo is glaring out the window of opportunity into the palm tress of L.A.
