The long-in-developement installment in the Jurassic Park franchise proves why we can’t have nice things.

A fully functioning Jurassic Park is something that Dr. Hammond could only dream of, unfortunately, but it seems to have become reality twenty-two years after it was tried the first time. The park is a huge success, but people are starting to become bored with the whole concept, so on-staff scientists try their hand at genetically engineering a T-Rex – and things go straight to hell from there.

Raptor trailer (!) Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and park operations manager Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) must team with park security to take the dino down. The visual are colorful and lush, it’s got that action-adventure feel down pat, and it features organized/trained raptors running in formation. What more could you want from a dinosaur flick?

Jurassic World is out on June 12.
