Downtown Baltimore has been shut down because of the violence between protestors and the police over last week’s shooting of an unarmed Black male

31 adults and four juveniles were arrested in Baltimore this weekend in connection to the protest for the death of Freddie Gray, who died in police custody on April 19.

Bottles and other objects were thrown at the Baltimore PD near the Camden Yards Stadium on Saturday as the Baltimore Orioles played the Boston Red Sox. Toward the end of the game, fans were told to stay in the stadium because of safety issues.

There have been protests almost daily since Gray received the fatal spine injury while in police custody, however, there has been very little media attention on this particular story. Gray’s death is currently under investigation and we will bring you more details on this story as it develops.
