As some of you may know, National Margarita Day is coming up on February 22 and their no better way to get your mind off this winter then to have a Margarita. But not just any margarita, a CoronaRita.
Despite it being freezing outside, this is just another reason to bring the summer back to you and for you to pull your poncho from behind your closet.
Well you may ask: “What makes that drink so great”?
Well, besides the margarita being #1 ordered cocktail and the Corona Extra as the #1 ordered import beer, this match made in heaven is the perfect way to celebrate an event and bring people together.
Therefore, round up your friends and order this drink on National Margarita Day. If you cant wait, the recipe is down below:
CoronaRita
Ingredients: 1 ¼ oz. Tequila
½ oz. Triple Sec
3 oz. Margarita Mix
1 Coronita 7 oz. beer
1 lime wedge
Margarita Rocks:
- ½ Salt rim
- Combine ingredients 1-3 in shaker with ice
- Shake vigorously
- Strain into glass with 2/3 ice
- Invert Coronita in clip on glass, garnish with lime wedge and serve
Margarita Frozen:
1. ½ Salt rim
2. Combine ingredients 1-3 in blender with 1 Cup Ice
- Blend until smooth
- Pour into glass
- Invert Coronita in clip on glass, garnish with lime wedge and serve
