Things are not looking good for New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez. For the past few days he’s been at the center of a murder probe in the death of his friend Odin Lloyd.
The media swarmed Hernandez and helicopters followed as he tried to go about his day as usual. One of those stops was at Gillette Stadium where he attempted to show up for a workout. He was allowed in the building, but staff was waiting for him and instructed him to leave according to the Boston Herald.
Patriots spokesman Stacey James would only say that he had no idea why Hernandez came to the Foxboro stadium yesterday.
“No coaches are here,” said James, declining to comment further.
There’s reports that an arrest warrant was issued for Hernandez on the charge of obstruction of justice but that was later refuted by the Boston Globe. “There are no arrest warrants issued,’’ said the source who has been briefed on the investigation into the slaying of Odin Lloyd. “For anyone.’’
Lloyd was reportedly shot multiple times and the investigation is ongoing.
