Updates in the Aaron Hernandez case
Aaron Hernandez appeared before the judge Thursday afternoon with the request that he can receive bail. The judge ruled against Hernandez denying him bail once again. Hernandez’s defense tried to explain that Aaron was not a flight risk, and even offered electronic monitoring and house arrest. Electronic monitoring and house arrest were rejected.
Judge Renee Dupuis stated that the prosecutions case was “circumstantial but very, very strong,” along with “the facts, as I understand it, suggest that basically a cold-blooded person killed another person because that person disrespected him.”
Now it has come to light that Hernandez was allegedly involved in a double homicide that took place in 2012. Law enforcement has told CNN that they have located a SUV that they have been looking for in relation to double homicide that took place in Boston’s South End. The investigators believe that the SUV was rented by Hernandez at the time of the killings.
So far in his day and a half in jail Hernandez has been described as a model inmate, being respectful and cooperative. He is currently staying in the jail’s medical unit, which is for people who have never been incarcerated before.
