Aaron Rodgers loses a year’s salary in a bet
Aaron Rodgers is relieved that this was only a hypothetical bet because he would have lost $4.5 million. Last February the Milwaukee Brewers’ Ryan Braun was in being investigated for the potential use of PEDs. During the process Braun stated his innocence numerous times with his buddy Aaron Rodgers sticking up for him on twitter.
In a semi-rant of tweets Rodgers said that he fully believed that Braun did not use PEDs and that the truth would come out. More interestingly Rodgers was backing Braun so much he bet his salary that he was innocent. Fast forward a year forward, Braun has now been caught and suspended the remainder of MLB season.
Rodgers probably wishes he had that tweet back.
