While this headline has been used often and has become probably the most redundant phrase when speaking on Top Dawg Entertainment’s resident Black Lip Bastard, Ab-Soul, it should still get fans excited for what comes next. It has been over two years since Control System was released, which help propel Soul Brother 1+1 into the national consciousness; with a slew of features and loosies being dropped since then, listeners appetites have grown significantly for new music. Well, you may not have to wait much longer.

Last night, Ab-Soul took to his twitter to announce some exciting news. After a slight detour, he is going back to his Longterm series and is working on the third incarnation. You may remember that his first three mixtapes/albums were all entitled Longterm and dealt with a lot of personal issues. No matter what we are excited to hear more music from the Black Lip Pastor.
