He’s got a point.

Around this time last week, XXL revealed the cover for their October/November issue, which features Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q & Jay Rock (Black Hippy), standing side by side. However–to the public dismay of Ab-Soul–the cover tag-line read “Kendrick Lamar & Black Hippy”, which all but disassociated Kendrick Lamar from the Black Hippy umbrella.

In an interview with Montreality, Soul touched on his declarative tweet, and his relationship with the platinum-rapper among a slew of other things that will surely open one’s mind up about what its like to be a part of rap’s new super group. Watch and enjoy.
